私が小学生の頃、一番夢中になっていたのは電子工作でした。
秋葉原にある電子部品の専門店から材料を取り寄せて、ラジオや調光器、オーディオアンプなどを自分で組み立てていました。
「BCL」という趣味にもハマっていました。
これは海外のラジオ放送を受信することです。受信状況のレポートを送ると「ベリカード」という証明ハガキが届くんです。
オーストラリアの放送局から美しい絵葉書のようなカードが届いたときは、とても感動しました。
高学年になると、今度はスピーカー作りに没頭しました。
近所の建設現場で余った板切れをもらってきて、大小さまざまなスピーカーを作っていました。
自分で作ったアンプにそのスピーカーを繋いで音楽を聴くのは、最高の時間でした。
My Childhood Passion for Electronics
When I was in elementary school, I was really into building electronics.
I used to order parts from specialized shops in Akihabara to make my own radios and amplifiers.
I was also a big fan of "BCL," which stands for Broadcast Listening.
It involves tuning into international radio stations from all over the world.
When you send them a reception report, they send back a "verification card" as a souvenir.
I still remember how moved I was when I received a beautiful card from a station in Australia.
In my later years of elementary school, I started building my own speakers.
I would get leftover wood from local construction sites to build speakers of all sizes.
Listening to music through speakers and amplifiers I built myself was an amazing experience.
我儿时沉迷的电子制作
我读小学的时候，非常痴迷于电子制作。
我会从秋叶原的电子零件店订购材料，亲手制作收音机、调光器和功放。
当时我还很喜欢“BCL”，也就是收听海外广播。
只要把收听报告发给电台，就能收到一种叫作“收听证明卡”的明信片。
当我收到一张来自澳大利亚电台、像风景画一样精美的卡片时，内心特别感动。
到了小学高年级，我又开始钻研制作音箱。
我会从附近的建筑工地要来一些废旧的木板，做成各种大小的音箱。
用自己亲手制作的功放和音箱来听音乐，那段时光真的太棒了。
